This is the updated edition of the popular course Português XXI, adapted with the new spelling reforms (the Novo Acordo Ortográfico), featuring up-to-date contents, a revised design which is much more modern and attractive, new photos and a CD containing new recordings.
 
This three-level Portuguese language course is one of our best-sellers as it focuses on motivating beginner students to actively participate in their learning. The course, which clearly respects the recommendations of the CEFR, follows a progressive and functional programme of activities designed to develop different linguistic, communicative and phonetic skills and there are frequent revision units in the student's book to help students revise the material they have learned.
 
Each unit offers 120 hours of classroom study and is clearly laid out with colourful images and contemporary photos. Important grammar points are summarised at the end of each of the 12 units. The student's book includes an audio CD as well as a lenghthy glossary, answers to all the exercises and the transcripts relating to the audio content.
