Fundraising Quiz Night for Umzimkhulu Project

Join the Dante Alighieri Society on Saturday 22nd October from 6.30pm for a fun quiz night and delicious meal in aid of the Umzimkhulu Project which is managed by the Koinonia Giovanni Battista Foundation. This is an ambitious project that aims to revitalise a rural area suffering the effects of some ruinous social problems, with a very high level of unemployment and a worrying incidence of AIDS among the local population.
Round up a few friends and put yourself to the test! Taking place at The Italian Club on Fairway, Durban North, tickets are R165 per person which includes a delightful Italian buffet. Or why not take a table of 10 for R1500. Full cash bar will be available and there are plenty of fabulous prizes to be won.

The Dante Alighieri Society is a Non-profit Italian worldwide organization that promotes a spirit of peace and understanding among people and cultures as well as the study of cultures and languages around the world. It was formed in Italy in July 1889 however its focus is not limited to Italian culture. The society is dedicated to promoting all forms and nationalities of culture and focusses on the offering of language courses including German, Portuguese, English, Zulu, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Japanese and Afrikaans. In addition, the society organises a range of public events from opera evenings to talent shows as well as soccer tournaments and plenty of activities for children, many of which are fundraising events for worthy local charitable projects.
